Rob Tucker

Rob has spent more than 25 years working with CEOs, boards, and ownership groups in high-stakes situations: contested transactions, activist pressure, regulatory and legal exposure, leadership transitions, and periods of rapid institutional change. His experience spans the U.S., Europe, and Asia and includes complex M&A, private equity transactions, proxy contests, and multi-year engagements that culminated in successful defenses, exits, or resolution.
He holds a Ph.D. from the Annenberg School at USC. Current areas of focus include private equity, capital displacement, and the structural effects of AI on institutional behavior.
Andrea Waddell
Director
Andrea manages Grey Matter’s operations, client relationships, and the firm’s advisory pipeline. She works directly with client teams throughout the lifecycle of an engagement and is typically the first point of contact for new business. Before joining Grey Matter, she worked with high-net-worth individuals and senior executives in high-trust, high-discretion environments.
